Don Champagne seems to have it all: a successful business, a perfect house, perfect kids and a perfect wife. Unfortunately, when his wife, Mona (Katherine Heigl), learns of Don's affair with a pretty new salesgirl (Jordana Brewster), this suburban slice of heaven spirals out of control.  What a crazy film! I quite enjoyed this film because I didn't have a clue were it was going so every scene was a surprise. The director mixed comedy and thriller together quite well and I'm surprised that it wasn't bigger than it was. To cut a long story short, it's about a successful business man who cheats on his wife with the new shop assistant who gets pregnant for him. She then blackmails him for money but the domineering wife doesn't have none of it. She ends up taking matters into her own hands while the husband does everything that she tells him, out of guilt. There's loads of other elements to the storyline but I don't want to spoil it for you. Katherine Heigl plays the psychopathic wife who has there life in order and doesn't want to spoil her perfect suburban family values. She played role extremely well alongside Patrick Wilson who really doesn't have a say in any aspect of there life. Its a very well written storyline which really works, from a shocking point of view and the different characters all bring a different flavour to the project. It just shows that it not always the man that is controlling and domineering in a relationship! Enjoyable!

 Round-Up: Katherine Heigl usually stars in romantic comedy, like Knocked Up, The Ugly Truth and Life As We Know It but in this movie she isn't playing the sweet and innocent person who is gullible and struggling to find love. For once, she has everything that she wants out of life and she won't let anyone come and destroy her perfect little world. I really don't know how she was able to keep a straight face through some of the scenes because her reactions to certain situation were shocking and quite funny. Patrick Wilson was like a little puppy dog all the way through the film, doing exactly what his owner was telling him to do but you can see that there is something in the back of his mind that is telling him that his wife is totally nuts. Anyway, I'm sure that people will find something to laugh about in this movie but it might be another film that goes under the radar because it didn't blow up at the box office.

 I recommend this movie to people who are into their comedy/drama/thrillers about a perfect couple whose life's completely change when the husband has an affair with a work colleague. 6/10
